Mules on city walls
I don't see nobody but you
You're my vice
You're my muse
You're a nineteenth floor view
I don't see nobody but you"

"Finally!" Said Serene after preparing his coffee.
She took the cup and went to his room before knocking it until she heard a 'get in'
She passed him the cup and stood beside his bed keeping a decent distance between the both of them.
She was lost in her own little world until she heard a crash sound and she looked at the direction to see the cup shattered into pieces.
She looked at him in disbelief while he sat there casually typing on his laptop.
"Too much sweet. I don't like it" he said casually making her clench her fist. She hated loud noises.
"Make it again till you make it better" he ordered and she sighed and nodded because she doesn't wants to be kicked out like others or else she'll lose her chance to be a senior doctor.
She made the coffee again and this time it was again 'too sweet' and again and again again.
She finally made the correct one after the 27th attempt.
She sighed and plopped to the sofa as she finally made it and she thought to rest but then it clicked her 'breakfast'.
She groaned again, kicking her legs in the air and started to prepare food for him using YouTube tutorials as she doesn't know the ABCD of cooking.
She finally made the food and it tasted good. 'Thanks to Jesus' she thought and it's appearance was also pleasant.
She made her way to his room and knocked until she heard a 'get in'
"Your breakfast" she said and he didn't even glanced at her nor the food
"I don't want it" all her hardworking crushed at his words. She looked at him in disbelief.
"Why not?" She asked little annoyed.
"I don't eat breakfasts" he replied casually making it hard for her.
"You will eat it" she said, determination filled in her voice as she sat down on his bed making him confused.
"What are you do-" he wasn't able to complete his sentence as she kept the food in his mouth. Practically, she fed him.
"Just zip it and eat... you don't know how hard it was for me to cook" she said preparing another bite for him while he sat there with an unknown emotion.
"You know, my mother told me that even if you skip your lunch or dinner we should never skip breakfast. It's very important. So eat like a good boy" she said with a cute smile with made his breathing to hitch.
In that moment be noticed her closely, her beautiful eyes and her long lashes, her rosy plump lips and slight curly hair and what caught his attention the most was the small mole on the middle of her neck.
In that moment he realised she's too beautiful and innocent.
He had the urge to protect her from the world. To keep her to himself.
The world around him fades away as he looked at her. How her small smile lightens up his dull heart. It felt alive. His heart which stopped beating felt alive as he looked at her.
A strand of her hair fell onto her face, disturbing his stare. He pushed the hair back into the back of her ear and looked in her eyes which was staring back at him.
For her, she was confused. Why did he do that? But later on, she shrugged it off. Continuing her work
"Done!" She said and that's when he came out his lalala land.
It took her only few minutes to feed him but for him it only felt like few seconds.
"How was it?" She asked him with an excitement filled voice but he was so lost in her that he was at loss of words.
"I-it was good" he finally blurted out making her happy and she practically did a happy dance while he looked at her amused.
Never have he ever saw a woman who feels over the moon to the slightest compliments.
And now he saw a woman who deserve every ounce of happiness in the world joyfully looking at him when he just complimented her cooking.
"Thank you Mr. Fernández! " she chirped happily before flying away like a humming bird.
While he just sat there looking at her with a small but genuine smile which rarely appeared.

"Sir" He heard Mr. Singhania, his secretary's voice.
"Yes" he replied casually while his secretary came closer to him and handed him a file.
"Sir, we are facing loss" he said and Adrian shut his eyes frustrated.
"it's only been 2 days since the accident and you're causing me loss?!" He yelled at his secretary while the Secretary stood looking down at his feet.
"It cost me 58 crores! Get out of my face! " he yelled and the Secretary practically ran out with his dear life.
Everyone knew how Adrian was when he was angry. He will kill the person standing in front of him.
"Mr. Fernández" He heard a soft voice and looked at the direction.
All his anger flew away through the window when he saw the person.
Serene Thompson. She was peeking through the door. Only her head came in view.
It's her first day yet she made him feel a whirlwind of emotions.
"It's lunch time" she said and came inside the room while he just looked at her. At that moment he wanted her in his arms.
He wanted to hold her tight and keep doing that till death rings the bell.
"Mr. Fernández, let me help you up" she said and helped him up and made him sit on the wheelchair.
"Let's get going" she said and started walking towards the dining table; pushing his wheelchair.
'Do I deserve her?' Was the thought that came in his mind when he realised the harsh truth that he can't walk even if it's temporary.
"Mr. Fernández, your lunch" she said as she served him the food and he was still staring at her.
She moved back and stood beside the wall while he looked at her again.
"You ate something?" He asked out of blue grabbing not only Serene's but Amelia who was cutting fruits and Liam eating the fruits attention.
"Huh?" She asked and he nodded and gestured her to sit and she shook her head.
"No I'm not -" she was cut off when he passed her a look like 'dare to deny'.
So she silently took a seat beside him and he started serving.
"I can do it on my own" she tried to stop him and serve herself but he didn't let her.
"I know you can, but let me do it" he said in a oh so soft voice and served her the lunch while she awkwardly looked over at Liam and Amelia who's jaws were touching the floor.
For what? She don't know.
They both had the lunch in silence. For him the silence was comfortable as long as she's beside him but for her it was awkward.
He noticed she was picking out the tomatoes and keeping it on another plate.
So she doesn't like tomatoes. Noted.
