Serene looked emotionlessly as she stared at the people who were seated in their living room.
The grooms side.
Yeah, finally she agreed for her father.
"So Let the both of them talk privately" Said the guy's mother and she internally rolled her eyes.
The guy slowly walked towards her and she looked at him and walked outside to the garden area where a swing was placed.
She sat on it and so did he.
"I'm James" he said with a polite smile which she returned.
"Serene" she simply said with her small smile.
There was an awkward silence between them until James broke it.
"So what do you think?"
"What?"
"About marrying me" he said and she sighed looking down at her lap.
"What do you think?" She asked looking at him and he slightly smiled with a tint of red on his cheeks.
"I'm ready" he replied shyly while she stares at him. 'Am I the girl or is he?' Was the thought that came to her mind.
"Then I'll agree" she finally did and he almost did an happy dance but still her face didn't had any void of emotions and she walked inside leaving a flustered James behind.
"It's a yes from both the sides" she simply said to the people in the living room before walking upstairs.
"She must be shy" she heard a voice from behind followed by some agreeing and chuckles.
She went inside her room and slammed her door shut and leaned on the door.
"Why? " was the only question that came out of her mouth as tears started flowing from her beautiful eyes.
She took her phone only to find 58 missed calls and 24 texts from none other than Adrian.
"Hello?"
"Where are you Reina?"
"Are you okay?"
"Did something happened to you?"
"Please reply"
"Pick up the fucking call"
"Don't test my patience Reina"
"Tell me something!"
"Darling, love, baby, my Reina.... are you okay?"
"Please text back this poor servant of yours"
"Love.... you're making me scared"
"Please....."
"I beg you....."
"Say something, baby"
"Reinaaaa"
"Is everything alright?"
"Darling please"

"Did I did something which made you mad at me?"
"I'm sorry Reina.... this Servant is a fool"

"It has been 18 hours, 57 minutes and 7 seconds since we last talked...."

She slowly wiped Her tears, she still decided to not reply him as she didn't knew what she's gonna say.
She slowly laid on the bed on her stomach with tears in her eyes until sleep took over her.
Meanwhile her step mother and father tried calling her for dinner but she said she doesn't have an appetite and went to sleep again as it was the only escape.
It was past 12 when she heard some weird noises coming from outside of window which was somehow opened.
She looked at there to see a figure standing there and she was about to scream but a palm came over her mouth stopping her screams.
"Shhh" he whispers in her ears. A strangely familiar voice which made her heart beat quicken.
She looked at the person and was shocked. The guy was drenched in water as it was raining outside and had a bruise on his forehead.
"M-mr. Fernández" she whispered in disbelief while he didn't said anything but pinned her to the wall and slammed his lips on hers catching her off guard by the sudden kiss.
The kiss was hungry and desperate as if he was yearning for her for a long time. As if he's a thirsty person who haven't drank water for years and now found the water.
She reciprocated the kiss but failed to take the lead because he wasn't letting her.
His tongue asked for entrance which she gave and his tongue roamed around her mouth.
After being breathless he broke the kiss and looked at her figure who was holding onto him.
He was angry but when he noticed the dried tears on her cheeks, he had the urge to rip apart the person who made his Reina cry.
She looked at him for a moment before hugging him as if her life depended on him. He was taken aback at first but it didn't take him a while to hug her back.
"What happened to you Reina? I was scared as fuck" he whispered as he hugged her but pulled away when he realised that he was wet.
"I'm sorry.... I ruined your dress" he genuinely apologized whereas she stated at him.
"That doesn't matter" she said and pulled him to a hug again which he reciprocated.
She silently cried in his arms while he caressed her hair whispering sweet nothings.
He picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist as he carried her to the bed like a baby. She snuggled more into his neck.
He walked back and forth with her in his arms trying to ease her pain.
Finally she stopped crying and he sat on the bed with her on his lap.
"Now tell me who made my Reina cry this much hmm?" He asked like she's a baby. Well she's. She's his baby.
She sniffed cutely and started explaining everything which made him mad.
The thought of her marrying someone else was like death for him.
She's his. No matter what.
"I did it for papa.... I don't.... know what I should do...." she said with tears in her eyes with made his heart clench.
"What happened to your forehead?" She asked touching his forehead which made him hiss in pain.
"I was scared.... so I came here in a high speed and got a small accident.... not a big deal" he said shrugging his shoulders while Serene was shocked.
"You.... you came all drenched in the rain and..... and even got bruised...." she said and stood up from his lap on her feet and went somewhere and came back with a first aid box.
She started cleaning his injury while she admired her.
"I love you" he said looking at her while she tried to hide her smile.
"I know... you don't have to remind me" she said and he smiled
"Can't help" he said again and she looked at him before going back to keep the first aid box back on its place.
"Can we go for a..... ride?" She asked as she came back.
